The London Design Fair was amazing, the exhibitors very much consisted of modern, eclectic designs, but often using traditional methods of manufacture, which makes for an interesting talking point within your home.
My favourites from the day were:
Tom uses high quality sustainable woods to make his gorgeous wooden furniture, from wooden boxes to wardrobes. He was showcasing his loop collection which was just stunning.
I love this product, essentially it is a living picture frame, as in plants in a frame, the frame has a special irrigation system which means the plants would last 4-6 weeks without being watered (great if you are away a lot on business or are a plant killer like me).
These stunning clay pieces are produced using the Nerikomi technique, which is a Japanese word meaning handbuild clay.
This wallpaper was so cool, it’s not paper, it’s is actually vinyl lined, so hardwearing, water resistant and cleanable. Such a clever idea!
An Irish father and daughter company which produces simple yet original wooden products, from locally sourced native hardwoods.
There were so many different exhibitors, I have only included a small selection which I found most interesting and unique.
