Summer kitchen ideas

Our kitchen is so small and plain that it looks boring. Now that summer is finally here, I am thinking into giving our kitchen a summer make over. For me the first step into having a perfect summer kitchen is to create a wish list or look for an idea first so that by the time I’m ready to do it then it can be easily done.

Browsing online, I thought Worktop Express has got an amazing customer kitchen gallery to get some ideas and I like these styles below. I’m thinking it would be nice to put a bit of colour in our kitchen so that it would look summery all year round. Bright and airy!

For me, the worktop has to be a wood and we love oak because it’s good quality and does last for a very long time. I’ll probably paint the cupboards with some colour to make it cheerful. Yellow does makes me think of sunshine, it’s very summery and a bright patterned blind curtain would be perfect for the kitchen window.

I would include a barbecue so guests can gather around the outside kitchen grill and socialize while they wait for food, such a lovely social idea.
