We had the most amazing day out at Legoland Windsor. We got the tickets from 365 Tickets and they arrived really quickly and without any hassle.
I went to Legoland with my 9 year old and 7 year old and both had an amazing day. We decided to arrive early, the gates open at 9.30 and the rides start at 10, but actually because we already had tickets we didn’t need to queue up and were waiting around for rides to open. But saying that it did mean that we headed over to the furthest part of the park (Knight’s Kingdom) and got on what we think is the best ride, The Dragon. In fact we did it twice because we loved it so much! We also did the other rides in the near by areas while the queues were short, we got on 6 rides (and the Dragon twice) in the first hour. After the first hour the queues had built up, but I didn’t see any queue over an hour and if you use the app you can see live queue times and aim for those with shorter queues.
There is so much stuff to do at Legoland, not just rides but shows and displays as well, then of course there is the imagination centre where the kids can explore their imaginations a bit.
We watched both shows in a row, a comedy pirate stunt show and a singing Lego friends show, over lunch time, so we ordered and ate our lunch while being amused by the amazing performances.
We spent the last hour of the day playing in their amazing splash park, ankle deep water so the kids can play safely without Mum and Dad, there is comfortable seating within easy watching distance so you can keep a close watch of your children playing. The water is a bit cold so the kids didn’t last too long since it was a bit cloudy, but they certainly enjoyed themselves.
There was so much to do that you really do need two days to do it all, we didn’t get to half the park. But both kids had an amazing day and were totally exhausted by the end of it. I thought it might have been a bit young for my eldest, but she had as much fun as the youngest! Definitely recommend Legoland Windsor for a family day out.
