I was invited to attend a bloggers event at St. Nicholas Centre Sutton last week and it was a great way to start the half term.
I brought along a few of my friends and my daughter to experience some the of facilities offered at the shopping centre. We were welcomed at the management suite with hot drinks and treats plus our goody bags. It was such a lovely event and everybody was so friendly. The PR host was so accommodating and they made the event so enjoyable.
We started the day by going to Debenhams to watch the Urban Decay masterclass featuring the newly launched Naked Cherry palette which looked so lush. The make up tutorial was excellent; they showed us the day and night looks you could do with the palette. My daughter loved the day look and considered doing something similar for her future prom make up. It was nice to learn some tricks on applying make up well. We also got to look at the products used in the tutorials and I tried some of them. They were incredibly amazing.
While I was at Debenhams, my daughter had a look around in New Look which she enjoyed. She looked at other shops the centre had to offer as well and enjoyed them too.
After the masterclass, we headed to the food court in which we were provided with range of dishes to taste from Sugar and Spice, Roti Masters and Bangkok Pad Thai. Oh my goodness, it was my first time to have chicken waffles and it’s the best, I want more! Sugar and spice served the most amazing chicken waffles and it’s now my favourite. We also enjoyed the bubble waffles and their milkshakes was divine!
The food was freshly prepared and they were mouthwatering. We enjoyed some spicy foods and I tasted almost everything that was served. It was all delicious and appetising. We truly enjoyed it, the staff was so friendly and very hospitable. Excellent service and great tasty foods, definitely recommend!
After having our lunch, we went and tried the Empire Cinema. My daughter and I had a great time trying their new sofa which was so comfortable and relaxing. We had so much fun at the cinema and had a great time laughing at the movie ” Goosebumps 2: Spooky Halloween ”
After the cinema, we decided to pop in quickly to see the Sweat! Gym and games garden. We just had a look and didn’t stay for long. However, it seemed fun to go to the games garden and play tennis which is perfect for children as well. The gym on the other hand looked very neat and was a motivating place to do work out.
We ended the day with some clothes shopping which was a lovely treat and I felt like I had a super relaxing day. I enjoyed the whole day out with my daughter and there is something for everyone at St. Nicholas centre. We were fully entertained and had a good time. Before we headed home, we went in their new and improved toilets. It is a shame as we didn’t take pictures to show how clean and lovely it was. However, I have a mirror selfie with my daughter in there, because the lighting was so good. Ahah.
I forgot to mention that there are going to be some exciting changes and Christmas events at St.Nicholas soon. The soft play area will be improve and will open at the end of this year so is therefore perfect for entertaining children when having a family day out. For more information on Christmas events please check out their website.
Disclosure : I was invited to attend a bloggers event at St. Nicholas Centre and received free foods, free tickets for the cinema and free parking for the purpose of trying some of their facilities. However, all my thoughts and wordings are mine and I truly enjoyed my day out there so I just wanted to share that with you.
