My children love it when we make our own fudge! It is not healthy and is full of sugar, but I believe in everything in moderation!
Personally I don’t think it tastes completely like fudge, more like rocky road. But the children really like it and that’s what matters.
400g chocolate (white/milk whatever you like)
1 tin condensed milk
Vanilla essence
knob of butter
stick it all in the slow cooker and stir until melted
Leave with lid off, stir every 10 minutes for an hour
Pour into a dish (approx 3 cm deep, 20×30 cm big)
Add dried fruit, marshmallows, choc chips etc
Leave to set in the fridge overnight.
Try some different variations: some coffee, mint, strawberry flavouring.

just, yum!! Fudge is one of my favourites. #foodiefriday
It’s such a simple recipe isn’t it. I featured a similar one on my blog but added crunchie and caramac pieces. So tasty!

I use my slow cooker so much especially during the winter months and have done for years, but I have never made anything sweet in it, but I have a feeling that is about to change!!! This looks amazing!!!
