Filipino chicken adobo

Sautéed chopped garlic then add sliced chicken and mixed it until it gets brown

Add dark soy sauce

Add pepper

Add the potatoes then cover the pan, simmer it in a low fire

Once it started to get watery you remove the lid and keep it open and mixed it until the sauce get thicken

I like a bit of sweetness so I add 1 teaspoon of sugar ( optional, other people may add vinegar and bay leaves as well but I don’t add as the taste can get a bit strong and my kids won’t like it. )

Once the sauce thicken and potato is tender then you can serve it with rice.
