Chicken ginger stew or filipino chicken tinola

Sautéed garlic and loads of ginger then add chicken and cook till it gets brown

Add hot boiled water

Add chicken cubes optional, without it you can taste the spice of ginger which is nice but the chicken cubes can add more flavour. Stew it until the chicken is well cooked. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Serve it in a big bowl

Add spinach and eat it with rice. In the Philippines we usually put chayote and pak choi as the added vegetable and we serve it with rice.
