Yoga sports bra and pants review | #triedtested

Honestly, I don’t exercise. It’s because I don’t have the time to do so. However, Im preparing myself to do it by collecting fitness accessories I can use in the future. So when I was offered to review this sports bra and pants I took the chance.

Queenie Ke Womens Yoga Sport Bra Light Support Strappy Free To Be Bra Size M Color Black Aross

Queenie Ke Women’s Bandage Skinny Sports Yoga Running Dance Cropped Pants Size L Color Grey Melange

Check out my video review over our YouTube channel

I was impress with the quality, fitting and style of this product. Most of all they were comfortable to wear, soft fabric which has a nice feel against the skin. They are both stretchy as well which is good for extra support.

Their sizing chart were perfectly fit me. I’m a uk size 8 so I have ordered size medium as recommended in their size chart.

The sports bra does gives a light support and has a beautiful criss cross strappy style which looks lovely on the back. It has a lovely bust support with additional padded that is removable.

The leggings / pants has an elasticated waist. Also has this stylish bandage that you can tie till the ankle.
Im really pleased with this product and I’m happy to recommend them.

What You Need When You’re Going To A Festival

Summer really is the best time of the year. If you are a student, you can take some time off and not worry about essays and deadlines for a while. It also gives you a chance to start reading for your next year’s modules. If you have already become ensnared in the world of work, it is the time that you look forward to every single day. When you get up on those cold winter mornings and have to scrape the ice off your windshield, the long, sultry summer evenings are something that you dream of. Whether you just want to kick back and relax at home or you’re planning a trip abroad, you will want to prepare properly.

However, one of the defining experiences of a British summer (despite it likely lasting only a few weeks in which it will rain a couple of times anyway) is going to a festival. While the Glastonbury festival is the biggest event of the year (and certainly the only one that is broadcast on television), there are a lot to choose from. Irrespective of which you choose, from a small, intimate gathering of hardcore fans to being one of an estimated 153,000, there are some things that you will always need.

Here is a list of festival essentials to help you ensure that you are as prepared as possible:

The first part of any festival experience is actually getting to the site. Depending on where you’re going, that may mean getting a coach or driving there yourself. It may be that you’re travelling quite far and you should, therefore, consider investing in something to distract you. An iPod is always good, but since you are going to be partying for at least a couple of days, you should probably think about getting some rest.

Taking a neck pillow is never a bad idea. While it may sound rather dull to just settle down and conserve your energy, one of the things that you’ll find is that travelling to a festival on a coach is not as hectic and loud as you’d expect. While there will likely be a lot of young people with you, they will probably be quite sedate.

You could even think about taking a book but you have to consider that it may potentially get damaged once you get to the festival.

Once you arrive, you will not be heading straight to a stage to see your favourite acts, but going to the campsite to find a good spot to sleep. You will obviously want to take a tent. Opinion is divided on whether you should take a good one though.

Many people invest in a cheap tent and then when they leave the festival, they just leave the tent at the site. However, this is not all that considerate since someone will have to clear it up. While you should leave the place as you found it, you also want to live in reasonable comfort while you are there. You are going to be sleeping on the ground so it will never be as good as your bed at home, but making sure that your tent is good enough to withstand the sometimes capricious British weather is a must.

You should also pick out a good sleeping bag. You may be tempted to get a more modest one, but remember that it will be the only thing keeping you warm and you do not want to get sick and have your weekend spoiled. On the topic of being ill, if you are susceptible, you should double check that you’ve got tablets for hayfever and other allergies.

Not being able to see your favourite musicians because your eyes are watering so much is never a good look.

Once you’ve got everything set up and you know where you’re going to be sleeping, you can start exploring.

However, since there are going to be lots of people walking all over the place, the ground can quickly become rather muddy. Invest in a good pair of wellington boots. It may not pour down with rain the whole time though so you should also get some hiking boots too. They may not seem like the most glamourous, but they are practical.

Going to a festival in shoes that you’d wear on a night out is not going to work because you’ll soon find that you’re rather sore. You need something that will support your feet because you’re going to be spending a lot of time on them.

One of the reasons that a lot of people cannot stand the idea of going to a festival is that you do not have a lot of the comforts on which you usually rely. These may include access to a shower. At bigger festivals, you have to wait for a long time to get into the cubicle, and once you’re there, you may be disappointed to find that since thousands of people have used it before you, it may not be all that clean.

This is why some people choose to take matters into their own hands and wash as effectively as they can with a facecloth in their tent, or use wet wipes. It may not sound appealing but it is the reality of going to a festival. It is better to prepare for it now than be surprised later on. Incidentally, there are often long queues for toilets too so get used to waiting. You’ll be doing it a lot.

For all of the practical considerations that you have to be aware of, festivals are all about having fun. Take a camera so that you can capture what will likely be the best weekend you’ll have all year as well as comfortable clothes that you can dance in until the early hours of the morning.

Since you are at a festival, you cannot go down to the shops if you want something to eat, so take some extra cash to get something there. If you drink, you should also think about taking some of your own since it can be quite expensive.

The most important thing though is to enjoy it. It is a rite of passage at this point and you do not want to miss out.

The Irish fairy door review | #triedtested

We were sent The Irish fairy door blue arched and my son was so excited in unboxing it. Please Watch our Video on YouTube.

The package content :

  • The blue arched door
  • Welcome guide book
  • Lease agreement
  • Note pad
  • 3 stepping stones
  • Surprise car air freshener ( smell lovely and fruity )

First we register our fairy on the Irish fairy door company website as instructed on the welcome guide book. My son Richard named his fairy after him so we called our fairy Richard lol

My teenage daughter got excited and she accompany her brothers to put the fairy door on the boys bedroom by their window and she also write a message for the fairy.

The following day, my kids check the fairy door and they were surprised that the note has gone including the key from the small bottle. Which made them believe that a fairy live with us and that they need to look after the Irish fairy door from now on.

My kids especially my 5 years old son was so excited about this. They loved their Irish fairy door on their bedroom window. We definitely recommend this to every family. This would make a great present as well.

Affordable alternatives for spring trends

While waiting for my car service on Saturday (3 hours!!) I decided to kill some time by reading a magazine, now I’m not normally one to buy magazines, I think they are a waste of money. But I quite enjoyed flicking through Marie Claire (April 2017 edition) and looking at their suggestions for spring fashion trends.

Marie Claire is predicting that trend for spring/summer is going to be:

  • Metallic
  • Check
  • Asymmetric hem lines and
  • Bold colours and patterns

One thing I did not like, however, was the price tags suggested in these articles: £220 for a top, £70 for a blouse, £79 for a skirt and £590 for a pair of sandals…so I have decided to share some better priced alternatives for those of us who are not millionaires…

Metallic

Metallic cold shoulder top, £8.99 from select

Metallic jacket, £29.99 from NewLook

Checked

This gorgeous checked dress is only £22 from NewLook

Checked shirt, only £14 from Tesco F&F

Asymmetric Hems

This beautiful dress is only £16 from Forever21

Asymmetric skirt, £18 from Tesco F&F

What Can I Use My Conservatory For?

A conservatory is a fantastic addition to any home. It gives you more space to work with, and they’re less expensive and quicker to build than a brick extension. Maybe you’ve moved into a home with a conservatory, or are thinking of having one built and aren’t exactly sure what they can be used for? Here are just a few ideas to consider!

An Extra Living Space

An extra living space at home can be really useful. Feeling overcrowded and that your family doesn’t have enough space can cause frustration and arguments. An extra living room means adults could have one room and teenagers could have another.

Alternatively you could have a ‘formal’ living room and a more casual one. It could be a breakfast room, or somewhere you sit out when the weather is nice. Having that extra bit of room in the home can make all the difference.

A Playroom

Fed up of toys everywhere in your living room? You could use the conservatory as a playroom instead while your children are small. With modern glass and additions like Guardian warm roof, conservatories aren’t the draughty ‘greenhouse’ style spaces they once were so no worry about children getting cold. They’re just as warm and cosy as the rest of the home. As your children get older you could repurpose the space and use it for something else.

A Dining Area

We’re not all lucky enough to have separate dining rooms at home. If your kitchen is small, chances are you’ll be doubling up your living room as a living/ dining area. Using the conservatory as a dining space instead gives you far more room in your main living area.

Alternatively, if you have a dining room you could use this for something else such as a home office- and dine in the conservatory instead.

A Kitchen Extension

A large kitchen is the stuff of dreams. They’re practical, beautiful and add more value to a home- it would certainly give it a strong selling point. Instead of making yours bigger with a standard brick extension, why not do so with a conservatory instead? With so much glass you’ll flood the room with natural light, making it look bright and gorgeous. Imagine cooking and entertaining in a space like this!

A Home Office

What better way to work from home than in a lovely bright and airy space? Whether you’re freelance, run your own business or just use your office to pay household bills it’s a great use of the space. Set up your desk and computer, add some plants and a filing cabinet to store all of your essentials. Some good quality conservatory blinds will help keep you shaded when the sun is out so you can see your screen properly! If you don’t have an extra bedroom to use then this is an ideal way to create the space you need.

Do you have a conservatory at home, or are you planning on having one built? What will you be using it for?

Getting that body confidence back.

It’s been a good few months since Christmas, and perhaps some of those Christmas pounds are still lingering with the January blues and heading back to work and reality. It can be a stressful time, with a lack of motivation for work, socialising and even working out. However, the warmer, happier months are heading this way, and already those beautiful spring evenings are probably putting you in a good mood. The flowers are blooming, and your energy is up, but are you confident yet in your body and are you ready for those impending bikini holidays! Your days of feeling confident can easily come back to you, it’s all about perseverance and of course, that desire to look and feel good, just in time for the holiday season!

Getting back your motivation may not be easy, but you have to start somewhere, and feeling confident in your body, means saying yes to more things, which in turn, allows you to create more memories and stop saying no to things. Firstly, try to stop comparing your body to others. It’s a common problem that many of us have and it’s ruining your confidence and making you feel more miserable.

Every body is different, and this is based on genetics, lifestyle factors and much more. We all come in different shapes and sizes, and you may be surprised at how many other people may envy your body, even if you’re feeling miserable about it! Your weight and height should be evenly spaced out, which is why we measure our BMI. You can do this online easily with a calculator based on your weight and height.

Most of the time, we feel we need to tone up a little bit more, rather than losing weight. Drastic weight loss is never good and it’s something that we can easily get sucked into by reading the gossip magazines and seeing tons of airbrushed models!

Start by getting into a routine, and this does not mean having to pay a hefty gym membership, but rather taking a brisk walk on a morning, or an evening stroll, just staying active by walking can be very beneficial to your bodily cycles.

Why not try cycling, or perhaps even swimming which is a fabulous full body workout without a huge strain on you physically. Start eating your treats in moderation and plan your meals, which is good for you mentally and also lighter on your wallet.

You don’t waste as much food! Create some healthy juices to start the day! By starting your diet early in spring, by the time those beautiful summer days roll around, you’ll be seeing the results; and before long, you’ll be feeling confident to wear those sassy luxury swimwear pieces again that you can find at knicker locker

Often women feel a little happier with a tan. Fake tan can be just as good as a natural one if you find the right one for you. Try a gradual tanner if you’re worried about any orange streaks, and then it’s a more gradual and natural process and can really make you feel happier in your own skin.

Get your notepads at the ready and start planning, get ahead of the game, and feel more confident again!
